Our Team

God called me to his family in November of 2002 while serving in the 101st Airborne where I served as a Combat Medic. Four months after coming to faith, I deployed to Iraq where I supported A Co 326 Engineers as we liberated the Iraqi population. Coming home in 2004, I exited active duty and served as a medic in the civilian world and reserves. In November 2007, I married Laura and we moved to Cedar Park. While attending Crossroads Community Church, I took part in the Journeyman ministry and God called me to the pastorate We moved back to Dallas where I earned an MA Christian Leadership and an MA Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. While serving as Pastor at StoneBridge Community Church in Minnesota, I heard God's call back home to Texas to plant a church, using new methods to share God's message with the next generation. I'm excited to build a new community, to explore God's will for Far West San Antonio, and to explore some back roads on my motorcycle. 

Laura’s somebody who loves and is loved by God, her family and her friends. She’s also a Bible teacher, writer and speaker who’s passionate about getting people into the Word and the Word into people. She has a Master’s of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and a BBA from Baylor University (Finance and International Business). She’s worked for organizations like Insight for Living, Fellowship Bible Church Dallas, and Dallas Theological Seminary. She loves being a pastor’s wife, albeit a nontraditional one (she always says she can’t cook, doesn’t do much kids’ ministry and the only instrument she plays is the radio.)
